Have you started wearing suncream yet?

The HSE has previously warned of the dangers of UV rays and their direct link to skin cancer.

IS IT SUMMER yet?

Well, it sure feels like it.

The temperatures have been rising and, according to Met Éireann, there will be moderate levels of ultraviolet (UV) radiation this afternoon, which is between 3 and 5 on the UV index.

The HSE has previously warned of the strength of UV rays above a 3 and their direct link to skin cancer.

It urged parents to put suncream on their children from April until the end of summer in order to protect them.

Today we’re asking you: Have you started wearing suncream yet?
